Konstantin Klinger

Konstantin Klinger is a Staff Security Research Engineer at Proofpoint, where he works on the Counterespionage (APT) Threat Research team, after transitioning from Threat Detection. Previously, he served as a technical lead for a detection engineering team focused on large-scale phishing campaigns and advanced malware activity. Prior to Proofpoint, Konstantin spent several years in government intelligence, specialising in network security monitoring, and later gained hands-on incident response experience at Apple. His work spans threat hunting, detection engineering and adversary tracking. Konstantin has previously spoken at Virus Bulletin, Botconf, Suricon, and PIVOTcon.
